ID tags withstand chemicals as well as mechanical shock and vibrations.  The Scirocco system operates stably in the hostile body-shop environment, where strong electromagnetical fields and lots of metal rule out other identification technologies.

Metals Scirocco has proved to be the only viable solution in one plant for identifying batches of metal powder in metal containers for processing. It is using special tags modified to accept sensor signals and transmit them as user data identify the powder and clear it for processing.

Food Automatic identification of batches of ingredients in recirculating containers is a problem in food processing where there is metal and/or moisture. The Scirocco system is suitable for these conditions.

Data Tags hold ingredient ID together with dates, times, and weights to ensure products are produced to specification. Back to back reader/writers unit keep track of transfers into high risk areas.
