Truck and Trailer Identification

Record loads at weighbridges and track lorries through distribution centre and factory gates

SUPPLY CHAIN SYNCHRONISATION

Trailers

When supplies of components must be synchronised with assembly schedules, as in the automotive industry, supply chain visibility becomes a crtical issue. Similarly for the supply of fast moving consumer goods to retailers. Scirocco readers at the factory exit are a key element in the solution.

Pallets, cages and totes

Codeway Identification Systems cover product labelling, outer case, and tote identification and pallet labelling to GS1 and industrial standards with barcodes, Datamarix and RFID. These systems include shipment verifiaction with postive identification of all the items in a load linked to the Scirocco ID Tag on the trailer or truck.

FREIGHT AND BULK MATERIAL

Distribution Centres

Scirocco readers at the entrances and exits of a distribution centre continuously record arrivals and departures and control the gates. Additional readers track movements around the site, controlling fuelling, eliminate labour-intensive administrative tasks, and cut out the need to ride up and down looking a lost trailers. Results: improved fleet utilisation, less delays, lower operating costs.

Bulk material

Where bulk material must be weighed at the entrance to a plant, Scirocco systems enable immediate data recording and controlled access. Process control becomes more accurate and throughput can increase.

With scales at entry and exit, the system is able to calculate the net weight of the material, check deliveries andshipments, and credit suppliers and debit customers. Typical products:

GARBAGE AND RECYCLING
