The movies show address labels printed and applied to photographic prints. A scanner reads a barcode on document before enveloping and the printing system retrieves the name and address record from its memory. These details are downloaded in advance to avoid delays on the line.

Pictured above is part of system for the RNIB designed and built by Codeway. It identifies CD loan returns, addresses those requested by customers, and sorts the rest for stock, inspection, or disposal.

This applicator prints labels and applies them upwards to the underside of a mailing pack. A scanner reads the barcode on the book and the controller lloks up the mext order for this title and retrieves the order and address details.

The label has barcodes and text that eanble the package to be routed to the customer and tracked at each stage of the journey.
