The new Avery ALX 924 labellers from Codeway start at £6500, an affordable price for you to print and apply labels on all your lines for volume products, cases and pallets. Cut out offline-printing and hand-labelling, and reduce operating costs.

The ALX 924 is an advanced printer applicator for 1:1 labelling on packaging lines. 1:1 means the ALX 924 prints and applies each label in a single cycle when the package arrives.

Robustly built for industrial use, the ALX 924 runs at up to 400 mm per second (16 inches per second) even with different data on every label. Its 1000 metre label rolls and 1000 metre ribbon rolls minimise changeovers.

[Image]Print capability: all common barcodes, 2D barcodes, truetype fonts, graphics and logos. The ALX 924 has a dot control function to assure barcode readability and warn the operator of any problem from one label to the next.

[Image]Ribbon-saving: a highly effective mechanism lifts the printhead over unprinted areas down to 5 mm length at print speeds up to 300 mm per second. The pre-adjusted printhead guarantees excellent print quality. The operator can exchange it easily - without tools.

[Image]Label application: the ALX 924 applies labels directly to the tops and sides of moving boxes, without an apply head.  Right and left hand models available. Standard Avery applicator heads are available for other applications where the height or position of the item on the line varies.

Special applications: Codeway builds apply heads for special purposes, such as labelling of sacks, plant pots, engineering parts, tyres, and plastic mouldings.
