Label Design

Wizards enable everyone to create labels quickly and easily. Labels can combine Windows and printer fonts, barcodes, drawing elements, and graphics files.

The wide range of variable fields includes prompted values, serialized fields and date/time stamps. There is total alignment control for variable paragraph text, and a best fit option.

Barcode Compliance

NiceLabel supports all standard barcode and 2D codes, with multiple options for check-digit calculation for any possible requirement.

Users are often confronted with particular customer or industry-specific  compliance NiceLabel provides pre-designed templates for spefific standards (e.g. chemical, automotive)and performs automatic code validation.

Data Processing Options

String, algorithmic and other functions are always available.

Additional data manipulation features include linked fields, advanced serialization options, and arithmetical functions.

Databases

Integration

NiceLabel excels at integration of the label printing process with enterprise applications: ERP, WMS, inventory management, and Microsoft Office, software and many others. Options cover:

• Command File and Command Line: a set of NiceLabel commands make it possible to automate label printing from other applications using "job files" or command line options.
• ActiveX: control the label printing process from a custom Windows application. The rich programming interface provides numerous functions for opening and changing labels, specifying label data, and printing to a selected printer. When controlled through other programs, NiceLabel performs as a print-engine and is completely transparent to the printer operator.

Password Protection and Log File

When necessary, the labelling administrator can restrict access to label printing by defining user lists with different levels of rights. A customizable print logging function can be enabled to record label printing reports.
