Zebra HC100 Wristband Printer

ZebraHC100_174x463 Zebra have developed the HC100, a dedicated printer for wristbands, to improve patient identification, promote safety and increase efficiency in hospitals.

The HC100 is also suitable for identifying people at leisure centres and events where security and safety are paramount.

Ease of use

The printer detects the wristband size and automatically calibrates and applies its settings for optimal print quality. Unlike other wristband printing methods, no time is wasted printing sample bands for adjustments between print jobs.

Less waste

The HC100 wristband printer avoids the waste of unused media because it produces single wristbands on demand.

Time saving

Simple one-handed loading operation compares favourably to laser solutions. These usually require staff to load forms into a special tray, print, apply a label to the band then fold over a protective laminate coating – the time saving is immediately evident.

Less maintenance and printer downtime

Zebra’s reliable tonerless and ribbonless wristband-printing solution has a lower cost of ownership than laser or other thermal printers. The ease of use of the HC100 ensures fewer helpdesk and service calls.

Print quality

The HC100 printer’s 300dpi resolution delivers high-quality text, complex graphics and bar codes that remain scannable for up to 14 days even after repeated exposure to abrasion, water and the solvents commonly found in hospitals.
