Fashion distributionA retail fashion group wanted to use hand held terminals instead of paper for picking and despatch at its distribution centre.

Problem - Need for speed and accuracy

The company had a good integrated supply system running on IBM AS400s, but picking and despatch was paper based, error prone, and slow.

Solution – Terminal Emulation

Codeway installed hand held terminals with and set up TwinClient sofware to emulate the IBM screens. In practice, configuring the network to support a large number of RF terminals and was an essential part of the project.
