Codetrack despatches Mini parts in assembly order sequence
An automotive parts manufacturer needed to guarantee the components in its stillages would be in the exact sequence of the BMW Mini production schedule.
Solution
The solution was to label each component with a 2D barcode, and then read the IDs of all the items in each stillage at once with a camera system.
As well as decoding all the barcodes, the multicode camera reader software appended spatial data to locate each item in its slot.
The Codetrack software uses an XML broker to check the stillage data against production orders.

The systems ensures practically 100% accuracy.
